Accept Life
Accept life. Don’t try to be judgmental. Nothing is good or bad in our life. Only our thinking makes it so. So don’t complain about your dog or broken furniture. Accept it. This is life. Life is not meant to be perfect. It will go wrong in all possible ways. This rule is being followed in the rocket engineering. When something is supposed to go wrong, by all means it will go wrong. So it is our duty to expect it and work for it, without complaining. Set long term goals. Life without goals is like travelling in a plane without knowing the destination. If you don’t have a goal in your life then you are like a dried leaf on a river. You will be taken by the course of the river; you will never have a control of your own life. Instead be like a shark that swims against the upstream to make its own path. Review goals. If you don’t review your goals weekly, then you can’t measure your productivity. This is like overhauling your life. You will surely feel better afterwards.
Some tips for leading a happy life
First, Rise early. I have told enough about this in my previous posts. Just browse through the archive to see what I have told about this habit in those posts. Second, Do Less. Don’t indulge yourself in unproductive work. Try to understand the priorities in your life and spend your precious time based on those priorities. Third, Slow Down. Try to enjoy the every minute of work. In this modern world, people always multitask. They read while they eat. They make calls while driving. They browse while at work. Stop all those. Understand the Power of one. Increase your focus and thereby, increase your productivity. Fourth, Have compassion. Have compassion for your fellow beings. Always don’t be money minded. Try to share with fellow beings. Teach your kids the habit of sharing and compassion. Fifth, Follow your passion . Many of us are stuck doing the work which we don’t love. We work because we get money. Enough. Try to switch to the job you love even if it pays less. Do the work you love and the money will follow you. Finally,
Train your body. You don’t have to be an athletic to exercise daily. Our modern lifestyle and work culture doesn’t allow a lot of physical activity and so it’s our duty to find some suitable exercise to train our body daily. Even 15 minutes of jogging in the morning would do more good.
